Sineu

Sineu, Majorca, Balearics, Spain
An interesting and ancient agricultural hilltop town in the geographical centre of the island virtually bypassed by modern mass tourism. Here you will find the grandest parish church on the island - Nostra Senora de los Angeles dates from the 13th century but was extensively remodelled in the 16th century. There are some very good traditional Mallorcan bar-restaurants in the main square. Sineu is bustling with activity every Wednesday when it holds one of the biggest fresh produce and livestock markets in the island.
LOCATION; Central.
